“Jenny From Thebes” é uma sequela do álbum de 2002, “All Hail West Texas”, surgindo como uma exuberante coleção de canções, que impulsiona John Darnielle como vocalista e os The Mountain Goats como banda, alargando mais uma vez a sua paleta sónica, apoiando-se em influências como Godspell, Jim Steinman e The Cars.
